Description
The campaign aims at alleviating the suffering of people in northern Syria in camps and villages during the holy month of Ramadan, by offering food baskets and iftar meals. The project will provide each family with a food basket that meets their needs throughout the holy month of Ramadan, in addition to providing 30 thousand with iftar hot meals with an average of 1000 meals per day in rural Aleppo and Idlib
Iftar meals consist mainly of:
Rice weighing 400g + chicken with average weight of 150g plus other ingredients required depending on each meal. 100 grams of yogurt and three dates will be provided with each meal.
People targeted by the campaign: 1,000 people will benefit from the iftar meals while 1,250 people will benefit from the food baskets, about 250 families in total.
